Driveway Replacement Atlanta
concrete driveway in Atlanta

From Buckhead to East Atlanta, Midtown to West End, we've replaced driveways in neighborhoods across the city. Atlanta's mix of older homes and new construction means we see everything—60-year-old driveways that have finally given out and 15-year-old driveways that were poured wrong the first time. If you're inside the Perimeter, we've probably worked on your street.

Driveway Replacement Marietta

Marietta and Cobb County are our home base. We've poured hundreds of driveways in East Cobb, West Cobb, and everywhere in between—from the historic neighborhoods near the Square to the newer subdivisions out toward Kennesaw and Acworth. Cobb County's red clay soil requires proper base preparation to prevent settling, and we know exactly how to handle it.

Driveway Replacement Alpharetta

Alpharetta and Johns Creek have some of the nicest properties in metro Atlanta, and homeowners here often want more than a basic concrete slab. We do a lot of stamped concrete, colored concrete, and extended driveways with motor courts in this area. If you're in Milton, Johns Creek, or up toward Cumming and Forsyth County, we've got you covered.

Our Services

Driveway Replcaement Process

At Atlanta Driveways & Patios, we understand that starting a concrete project can seem daunting. That’s why we’ve broken down the process into 5 simple steps, from obtaining a quote to enjoying your finished patio or driveway.

Free Estimate

We come to your property and walk the job with you. We measure the driveway, check the condition of the base, look at drainage and access, and talk through your options. You’ll get an exact price before we leave. Not a ballpark, not a “we’ll send you a quote next week.” You’ll know exactly what it costs before we shake hands.

Design & Permitting

Once you approve the quote, our team will handle the design and any local permitting required to get the project done. This also include and street closure if necessary.

Scheduling & Pre-Construction

Once you’re ready to move forward, we get you on the calendar. Most jobs are scheduled within 1-2 weeks depending on the season. We give you specific dates for demo and pour, not a window, not “sometime Tuesday.” You’ll know exactly when we’re showing up.

Construction & Quality Control

Prior to the day of the concrete pour, we will have a crew prep and form your driveway and perform any concrete demolition if needed. On the day of the pour, or project manager will be on site ensuring that everything runs smoothly and efficiently.

Project Completion & Final Inspection

After the concrete has had a chance to cure for a few days, we will come inspect the final concrete product, perform any touchups that are needed, and do our final clean.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does driveway replacement take?

Most residential driveways take 2-3 days total. Day one is demolition and removal. Day two is base prep and forming—sometimes we pour the same day if the base is ready, sometimes we come back day three for the pour. A standard two-car driveway is usually done within two days. Larger driveways, driveways with extensive base issues, or decorative concrete jobs may take 3-4 days.

How soon can I walk on my new driveway?

Wait at least 24-48 hours before walking on fresh concrete. The surface will feel hard after a few hours, but it's still curing underneath. Walking on it too soon can leave marks or damage the finish.

How soon can I drive on my new driveway?

Wait a minimum of 7 days before driving on new concrete. 10 days is better. In cooler weather (below 60°F), wait 10-14 days. Concrete reaches about 70% of its strength in the first week but continues curing for weeks after that. Driving on it too early can cause cracking, surface damage, or tire marks that won't come out.

Do you remove the old driveway?

Yes. Complete demolition, removal, and disposal of your old concrete is included in our price. We break it up, load it into trailers, and haul it to a recycling facility. You don't have to deal with any of it.

What happens to my landscaping?

We protect your lawn, plants, and flower beds. Our equipment stays on the driveway and immediate work area. We lay plywood over grass when needed to prevent ruts. After the job, we clean up any debris and rake out any areas that got disturbed. If we damage something, we make it right.

Do I need a permit for driveway replacement?

In most metro Atlanta cities, you don't need a permit to replace an existing driveway since you're replacing a structure that's already there. If you're adding a new driveway, expanding significantly, or changing drainage patterns, a permit may be required. We check local requirements for your area and handle the permit if one's needed.
